I hate goin to d dentist and I hate him pullin and touching my mouth ... how can I get over my fear and serious answers please !!!

You might have to talk to a psychiatrist to treat you of your fear of Dentists. Another way is for the Dentist to place you under general anesthesia, and have him do all necessary treatment. You won't feel a thing. To make you feel even better, you can have someone you trust take you along. Soothing music also helps.

Tommarow i have to go to the dentist and get three teeth pulled because they should have fallen out a long time ago. they are all "baby" teeth, but they are making other teeth grow in crooked. I am going to be on "loopy gas" but i am still VERY nervous. for others who have had this done, will it hurt? will i even feel anything? any other information would be nice... EASY 10 POINTS!

When i was 12 I had a baby tooth pulled for the same reason, but i had a shot in the gums to numb the pain. the shot hurt more than anything else. HAHA. i suggest wearing headphones though because the creepy squishing gums sound is freaky when he's actually pulling it out...it might gross you out and give you a false sense of pain. but NO...it doesnt hurt, to answer your question. If you are on the gas, you'll have it better than i did.

how much do dentist make? orthidondist? i am thinking about becoming a dentist or doctor in the NAVY any advice which one is better?

Big difference in the military and private civilian practice. Go in the Navy to get your education then leave and go into private practice. Dentist and orths make a good living at least $100,000 but Medical malpractice insurance takes a big chunk out of it. But they still have a good life. Good luck to you.

I had children young I am 20 and I am finally finding what I want to be. I think i want to be a dental hygienist and continue school get, my bachelors and try to be a dentist. I think it would be great to be able to help people in some way (I am an accountant now) and I think that doing charity work for people without insurance would be awesome. So here are my questions: Do you think I shoul try? Where should I start? What other jobs can I do in the field while I get my certifications? Around how much will I make? You can get certified as a dental hygienist at a community college, and take the classes part-time so you can have another job on the side. You could probably find the average amounts that dental hygienists make online.
